Cambridgeshire Young Persons History Awards

The Cambridgeshire Young Persons History Awards were launched in May 2006 in an attempt to encourage and support the study of all aspects of Cambridgeshire's history by young people. They will be presented for the first time in May 2007.

The more young people become aware and involved in the study and research of the history of their local community, the more it will enhance their sense of belonging and develope their citizenship skills.

The more Young People become aware and involved in the study and research of the History of their local community, the more it will enhance their sense of belonging and develop their citizenship skills. These Young People are the Archaeologists & Historians of Tomorrow, it is up to all of us to encourage and nurture their interest in the Past & their Local Heritage Today....

The Cambridgeshire Association for Local History are asking people to nominate Young People for CYPHA - the Cambridgeshire Young Persons History Award. Our aim is to reward and recognise History related work carried out by Young People in Eastern region.
